Greenfield – Career Center Masshire Franklin Hampshire invites the community to a work fair of health occupations at Commons Dining Family College College of Greenfield on Monday, February 24, from 11am to 1st afternoon

Employers who follow employers include the Development Services Department, Lifepath, Integritus Healthcare, Baystate Health, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Regalcare in Greenfield, Northfield Mount Hermon School, Extensive Care Care, Servicenet, Franklin Group, Franklin Group Sheriff’s Office, The Executive Office of Human Health and Services, Cooley Dickinson VNA & Hospice and the Executive Office of veterans’ affairs.

The other silent movie in Garden Cinema is ‘Sheikh’

Greenfield – Live music silent movie returns to the garden cinemas on Monday, March 3, with a show of “The Sheikh” (1921) performing Rudolph Valentino at 6:30

The show will display direct escort by Jeff Rapsis, a New Hampshire -based composer who specializes in creating results for silent films.

“These films are still exciting experiences if you can show them after they were created to appear,” Rapis said in a statement. “There is a reason that people initially fell in love with the movies and we hope to recreate that spirit. At best, silent movies were municipal experiences in which the presence of a large audience intensifies everyone’s reactions.”

In “Sheikh”, Valentino plays Sheikh Ahmed Ben Hassan educated in Paris, who arranges brides for wealthy Arabs. High -spirited lady Diana Mayo (Agnes Ayres), learning that sheikh will be in the city of Biskra, Algeria, decides to disguise herself as a dance girl to become one of the future brides. Listening to that Diana will visit the Sahara desert, Ahmed kidnapped her, aiming to make her fall in love with her, with unexpected consequences.

Acceptance is $ 10.50 adult and $ 8.50 for children, elderly and students.
