UFC surprisingly re-signed the beloved veteran to fight in the accumulated card

Suddenly, UFC des Moines in Wells Fargo Arena on May 3 was collected.

On Wednesday evening, the promotion announced three fighting out of the monitor. The most shocking part of the three -fighting announcement was the return of Jeremy Stephens to UFC.

Stephen, 38, has returned for his 50th period of mixed martial arts, and he will receive Mason Jones. “Lil Heathen” is fresh from a memorable KO victory over former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in BKFC last January.

The victory over Alvarez was Stephen’s third direct victory in BKFC. His success in the naked boxing made his return to UFC more startling UFC.

Nolan King i mma junkie had this reaction X:

This is such an external signature of the field … and so not what UFC does typically. But I like it. This is an attack by a quarrel and an experienced veterinarian gets one more fight at home. He has won it.

The king is right. Jones has also returned to his second season at UFC, too. The 29-year-old fought at UFC from 2021 to 2022, compiling a 1-2 record with a competition.

Since leaving UFC, Jones has been in tears, winning four fair fighting at Cage Warriors to win his way to high sport promotion.

This war has a night struggle written throughout it in most cards. However, the UFC also announced Bo Nickal Vs Reinier de Ridder and the main event, Cory Sandhagen Vs Deeveson Figueiredo.

When the card was first announced, I did not expect the UFC to build a card with tonnes of well -known warriors. I was wrong.

Figueiredo is a former champion, and both he and Sandhagen are contenders of the legitimate championship in the Bantamweight Division. Nickal vs de Ridder is the type of match that teaches us something about both men.

This war is the biggest challenge for Nickal. He will enter with his first rank opponent. De Ridder, the former two-divided champion with one, now ranks No. 13 in UFC.

Look at this card:

  • CORY SANDHAGEN VS DEESSON FIGUEIRED – Bantamweight
  • Marina Rodriguez vs Gillian Robertson – straw weight
  • Santiago Ponzinibbio Vs Daniel Rodriguez – Welterweight
  • Yana Santos vs MESHA TATE – Bantamweight
  • Marlon Vera Vs Mario Bautista – Bantamweight
  • Montel Jackson vs Daniel Marcos – Bantamweight
  • Reinier de Ridder vs Bo nickal – middle weight
  • Jeong Yeong Lee vs Trevor Peek – Featherweight
  • Cameron Smotherman vs Serhiy Sidey – Bantamweight
  • Junior Tafa Vs Tuco Tokkos – Heavy Weight
  • Azamat Bekoev vs Ryan toy – medium weight
  • Jeremy Stephens vs Mason Jones – easy

In addition to the three new fights, the return of Montel Jackson, Vera-Bautista, Tate-Santos were already on the card to make it intriguing. Let us not sleep in the Lee-Peak war which can push Stephens-Jones from a pure perspective of savagery.

Based on the planned fighting, this has a chance to be one of the most watched night cards of the 2025 war.

I would like to be so excited for the other UFC card. UFC Vegas 104 does not look great on paper. Look at this fighting lineup for APEX UFC on Saturday, March 15.

  • Marvin Vettori vs Roman Dolidze – Middle Weight
  • Elizeu Zaleski vs Chidi Njokuan – Lightweight Weights
  • Alexander Hernandez vs Kurt Holobaugh – easy
  • Da’mon Blackshear vs Cody Gibson – Bantamweight
  • Diyar Nurgohay vs Brendson ribeiro – light heavy weight
  • Kevin Vallejos vs Seung Woo Choi – Featherweight

  • Sam Hughes vs Stephanie Luciano – Straw weight
  • André Lima Vs Daniel Barez – Flyweight
