Chinese Smartphone firm Oppoa has revealed its new folding flag on Thursday, looking for a thinner body and featured artificial intelligence features in an attempt to compete with high-level folding equipment from the like Samsung and huawei.
The company’s phone found N5 that can be folded in half, will have a minority at a starting price of $ 2,499 single (1,867.70 dollars).
When it is closed folded, finding N5 looks like a normal grass -shaped phone with a 6.62 -inch screen. The device can then be folded out to indicate a larger, 8.12 -inch tablet.
Most importantly, the phone has an ultra -thin design. When closed, it measures 8.93 millimeters thick, and when opened in tablets, finding N5 has a depth of 4.21 millimeters.
This is thinner than the Galaxy Fold 6 of Samsung, which the South Korean technology giant released last year.
Inside the device is a 5,600-hour thin Razer battery that is not larger than a credit card. Oppo said the battery includes a silicone-carbon material, which enables high battery capacity regardless of its small size.
Oppo is hoping it can gain business from the likes of Samsung and Chinese technology giant Huawei, both leading smartphone players seeking to shake the market from a slowdown in innovation with new glowing models that can bend.

Like many other smartphone manufacturers, OPPO is investing more in features focused on artificial intelligence in the equipment.
The Find N5 Oppo has a triple -camera configuration that includes a telofoto lens that can enlarge up to 30x thanks to a helper from a feature of the image of it, called it Telescope Zoom.
It also comes with a personal assistant of one who can interpret and summarize the documents, generate a summary of telephone calls and translate video calls and other contents displayed on the screen.
Addressing concerns about intimacy, Oppo said that some data is processed directly into the device while other information is stored in the Cloud. In international markets, Oppo is using Google as his and Cloud computing technology partner.
An OPPO spokesman told CNBC that the company “strictly adheres to local laws, regulations and requirements of protection of intimacy”.
Samsung recently launched additional skills in her new Galaxy S25 flag series, including the ability to perform tasks through numerous applications when required and integrated to the Google Assistant.
Control of a Mac with an Android phone
Opo also spoke a new feature that enables users to connect their phone to a MAC computer. Using an app called O+ Connect, users can connect Find N5 with each Mac desktop machine and immediately transfer pictures and other files between equipment-as long as they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Users can also choose to remotely check a MAC from finding N5. The Mac screen can turn off and then reappear on the screen you find N5. The remote control feature requires only mobile internet or Wi-Fi to synchronize the data of a MAC with Gind N5 in real time.
Characteristics uses Macos application programming interfaces, which enable two different applications to communicate with each other. Oppo said that O+ Connect “completely matches the Macos software platform and regulations.”
Ben Wood, leading analyst in the CCS Insight Market Research firm, told CNBC Find N5 “shows the possible art when engineering a flexible screen technology product.”
Wood added that while Huawei XT’s triple screen spouse led to some fanaticism, “commercially I think smart money is still in the form factor as the book already offered by Samsung, Honor, Google and now Oppo.”
Samsung teased a prototype of Trifold Smartphone at his January -packaged event for the start of the Galaxy S25. It is still not clear if the phone is a product that Samsung will start commercially any time soon.
