He also predicted that existing DEI programs and departments within private sector companies may be among the first in the cutting block when pressing numbers.
“Private companies, when they start looking at what they put on money and why they put that money there, and if there is no return on investment, I think you will see things shorten. That’s how businesses are,” he said.
“I think that’s why the biggest key to a successful business is the right people doing the right things, going in the right direction. This creates profitability for everyone,” Meaike added. “But you will absolutely see these departments and shortened divisions because it’s an expense.”
Meaike, a former social worker, is now a “self-made” millionaire who gives key speeches to inspire others to reach similar heights.
He also built Punch Media LLC, where most of the content is focused on the return of other people into millionaires.

For 30 years, Meaike has built businesses that boast of diversity as a high fortune, but not at the expense of focusing on qualifications.
“One of the things people say is,” You have such an incredible diverse sales force. “Yes, America is varied and that’s our biggest strength,” he said.
“But not once we said, we will hire that person or not hire that person based on the way they look, where they are, what is their background,” continued meaic. “This has never been a factor for us.”
Some companies have already walked behind Dei initiatives that have been widely supported during the Biden years – retail giants Walmart, Amazon and Target, among them.
The division between Dei and Merit has attracted national attention in recent months, its attention exacerbated by Trump administration blows, including an executive order that led government agencies to investigate Dei programs in publicly traded corporations.
